I have two sets of dect 6/0 and none of the handsets get dial tone from base even when plugged in next to bases. what am I doing wrong???
I am writing for my Mum, who is 99. We live far apart, so it is a bit difficult to fix her problem. She had a new Uniden DECT 60 (?) installed in early July. It seemed to be working fine when we left her, but she says it only rings twice before going to voice mail. She says it has always been like that. How can we fix this for her even though we live at a distance?.
I have lost the pin code of a Samsung SP-R5210 and therefore i canot register it at the base
Sounds like the handsets lost their link to the base. Did you have a power outage recently? Power outages can cause this problem. So you need to register the handsets to the base. Follow this link http://www.uniden.com/index/manuals_results.cfm?cat=59
and select your model # from the list, this is from pg 27 of a dect6.0 1060 model
Registering a new handset
When you register a new handset to your base,
you will be asked to enter the base PIN code.
The pre-set PIN code is 0000. If you wish you can
change this code, see page 29.
Before registering, make sure the new handset is
fully charged and that you have the base and
handset in front of you. Also, make sure all
handsets and the base are in standby.
On the handset you want to register:
1 Press to access the main menu.
2 Press or until Add.settings is
displayed and press .
3 Press or to display Register and
press .
4 Press or to select your base
number and press .
On your base:
5 Press and hold for approx. 3
Hope this helps

I attempt this process but my phone returns "Not Registered." The manual says to repeat the process for this error and I do but get the same result. Help.
