You may be able to help me with my 403FT. I have nothing coming up on my control panel no lights anywhere. The power supply is all good so it has to be within the heater. Can't see a fuse able link.
If you smell gas in a Rinnai you have a big issue. This heater is what is called a direct vent heater with an electronic ignition so the combustion chamber is sealed and the smell of gas is an indication that you have a gas leak. Please call a professional today.

its located directly on the back of the heater and the wall spacer, from the control panel, its about 4 inches back.
Pull it up, clean reinstall
Remove the two screws on the side trim. Remove the two top screws from the filter panel. Reach behind the heater and pull the sock down on the vent pipe. unclip the two clamps holding the vent pipe together. Remove the plastic elbow off of the vent termination. Slide the heater to the left to slide the vent pipe off of the vent termination. Remove the gas line after shutting the gas off.
