You need to make sure you have 5 things.

1. power connection to the battery/amp
2. make sure you have a remote line radio/amp
3. make sure you have rca's radio/amp
4. make sure you have a ground amp/car frame ( scratch paint away for good contact)
5. make sure the speakers are connected to the radio.

if all is ok then check the inline fuse from the hot wire from the battery is not blown and the fuse on the amp is not blown.if so replace them. with the proper amp fuse.

Connected a Dual XPA2100 300 watt amp to the battery and connected ground to chassis of vehicle. Vehicle is 2004 Saturn Ion with battery located in trunk area. Amp does not power on, all connections are...

The remote wire DOES need to be connected to the head unit. You can see if thats the problem simply by touching the remote wire to the power wire. The unit should come on. The head unit should either have a remote lead, or a power antenna lead, and thats what you need to turn the amp on and off. BE SURE your ground is solid, and its usually best to take that to the battery as well to prevent unwanted engine noise. Hope this helps!

The led on my lxa 600 watt amp in my dodge magnum

If the light is all that is on then it will be fine. It would take days to weeks for it to kill todays car batteries. If the amp is drawing more power than just that though, I would move the remote wire to the ignition or the headunit, because the fusebox is getting constant power to tell the amp to stay on.

Who needs a «remote DC terminal» ???

Hello labdes,

The "remote" terminal of the amp requires a +12V signal to rurn the amp on. Normally, this is supplied by a specific wire from the vehicle "head unit". But you can simply jumper it to the positive 12V source. + should go to the 12V positive and to "remote", - to the 12V negative. I'd wire a switch across the "remote" and "power" terminals to have a way to turn the amp on and off.

I'm hoping that your "car amp" has speaker level inputs, because the PC card is probably not going to have preamp outputs. If the amp has only RCA type inputs, you will need to purchase a LOC (line output converter) such as the PAC SNI-35 shown here. They are also usually available at your local car audio shop and some big box stores.

Hope this helps.

My Amp Keeps shutting off

You need to get an amp with higher wattage. Obviously, your amp cannot handle those two 10" monsters. hehe Nice Subs though :D

CD player wont come on was doing weird things

You have your accessory wire (red wire) and remote ran together and the yellow (constant wire ran separately in the dash?

You need the red wire to so you can use accessory and to turn off your cd player when your vehicle turns off.

You need the yellow wire to keep all your settings stored. base/treble/time clock

Just a little clarification. Your amp turns on with the remote wire (blue) wire, if that is not hooked up you will get no power to the amp.

Here's the in-dash diagram to your vehicle at the bottom of this pdf.

You want to focus on N,O, and P

Do you happen to have an after market wiring harness? These can be bought from walmart for your vehicle. You just take the male end connect the colors together and plug end that goes to your cd player into the female end. Very easy to do.

You could also have one of these fuses out under your hood, that might cause you to lose power to everything.
