Dear friends, i do realy need a help, i have samsung scd23 mini dv
camera, and i have firewire in my pc, and everything is installed, but
my windows xp proffessional doesn't recognizes my camera, and it does
recognise on my friends pc, can you please tell me what could be a
problem.

and everything seems perfect but still a big problem.

Only problem is that your pc doesnt recognize your camera right?

it's not the usb, it's firewire cable, now it does see camera but the problem is it can't install in device manager "61883 class bus device", if you have any solution for it please help me
early1234, the problem isn't in USB, it's firewire cable, and now it does get close to recognising the device but as soon as it tries to install devcie, in device manager it says "61882 class bus device", and there is yellow round on it with "!" this sign.
i even have installed service pack 3 and all those weird stuff but still it doesn't recognises it, and my friends pc with windows xp SP2 does, i hade before windows xp pro SP2 but it had same problem.
it doesnt let me install it and upload my videos wat a waste
