Thats not true I repiar tons of lcd and plasmas I sources this from out of country. Most screens are lg or samsung replaceable .All vizios are lg screens and usually cost about $100 new plus shipping. i just havent had time to rip these 2 open to get to the lcd part tag yet and wanted to see if anyone else already has to save me a bit of time as I have an order ready to be shipped to me next week.thanks thoughThats not true I repiar tons of lcd and plasmas I sources this from out of country. Nothing on all inputs would suggest the Main AV board not processing signals, if all other functions such as volume, menu access, on and off operate normally the power supply board is probably functioning OK. Have a look at shop jimmy for an idea on price and availability for Mitsubishi LT-46144 Boards and spare parts:
The LCD Panel is usually the cause of the problem.
Do to the cost of the Panel, replacing it is not cost effective. If you want to check the price to buy a new one, this is Mitsubishi's Parts Department Phone Number. 1800-553-7278.

Go to Mitsubishi support page, look at warranties (scroll down) and see if your model is under the extended warranty section. Then if so have a tech repair person come look at the picture and order the parts while you keep the tv. Parts and labor are covered.
