Hi!

This usually means Windows is having a difficult time reading your profile information correctly. You can try a few things to correct this by visiting Microsoft's site below:

You receive The User Profile Service failed the logon error message

When i sign in with my password I get a message saying - The User Profile Service service failed logon - User profile cannot be loaded. I wonder what I can do

Login in as an administrator. There is a problem on the user profile that you are logging in. In order to correct that, just login as administrator. Then create another profile. Afterwards, back up the files that you store in the profile that has a problem. You can access it in C:\Documents and Settings\User Folder (user folder is the profile that has a problem).

Wont ring in normal setting.

This is a rather common issue but one that is easily corrected. Motorola phones have different "Profiles" such as Outdoor, Meeting, and as you know, Normal. Each of these profiles have their own separate ringtone settings. To correct the normal settings go to Settings>Profiles>Normal, press options and select edit. This will allow you to set the correct ringtone and other settings for that profile. Once that is done you should be ok.

I recently bought a P168C Unlocked Cell Phone from Ebay......

The most common cause is that the Data account for the GPRS data profile you are trying to use was never
configured, is configured incorrectly, or the proper GPRS profile was just never "Activated" under the WAP settings after the profile was
created. First go into the Data account services under the GPRS settings & make sure you have set up the correct profile for your
carrier. If it is set up, then edit the profile & make sure all the settings are correct as well as the spelling is correct. Then go into the
WAP Service settings & check to see that you have selected the correct SIM & correct profile, as well as Activated the profile. To
Activate the profile just select the correct profile from the list, and tap on the Activate profile bar. Also edit the profile to make sure
all the settings are exactly correct for your carrier, as well as the correct Data account (GPRS account) was selected for the internet.
Below is the Step by Step to set it up. Works if it is done exactly.

ATT Manual Set Up

WAP

***First Step***
1.Main menu --> Select Services
3.Select Data Account --> Select GPRS
5.Select the first entry
6.Edit the account name to whatever you would like
7.Edit APN to wap.cingular (lowercase)
8.Edit Username to [email protected] (UPPERCASE)
9.Edit Password to CINGULAR1 (UPPERCASE)
10.Edit Auth Type. to Secure
11. Save

Select Back --> Select Back

***Second Step***

Select WAP
1.Select Settings --> Edit Profile
3.Select the first entry --> Edit Profile
5.edit the name to whatever you would like
6.Edit Homepage to http://device.home
7.Edit Data Account to the Name you established in the First Step
8.Edit Connection type to HTTP
9.The IP address is 066.209.011.032 and the port number is 8080
10.Edit Username to [email protected]
11.Edit Password to CINGULAR1
Select back or done
Select Activate Account

You should now see a Black [G] in the upper left of your screen.

MMS

Select Messages --> MMS --> Message Settings
Select Server Profile
Select the first entry
Select Edit Profile
Edit Rename Profile to whatever name you would like
Edit Home Page to http://mmsc.cingular.com
Edit Data Account to the same data account you created for WAP
Edit Connection Type to HTTP the IP address is 066.209.011.032 and the port is 8080
Edit the Username to [email protected] (UPPERCASE)
