Hi there can you please select the camera mode in AUTO focus and click the photo. If its in macro photography mode that time it will take time for focusing. If you face the same problem in auto mode also then the lens guide pin is damaged & thats why you face that problem. Thanks & waiting for your feed back.

Nikon Coolpix S32 watreproof camera doesn't focusing properly

You have to know if the FOCUS is the issue or SHUTTER SPEED. In most cases with most CoolPix Cameras if the Image is not in focus (When you push shutter down HALFWAY) the Focus Rectangle will not be GREEN... If it RED it cannot focus. If every time you take a photo the focus area is red then it is not focusing. Small Coolpix cameras have difficulty focusing in low light.

Low light can make a hand held image look blurry because of hand shake. If the light is so low it wants to take a long exposure. This works with a tripod, but not with a hand held photo. With most of these small cameras you can take 1 second night photos with a tripod. They would look horrible handheld.

Typically on the Coolpix cameras you can set the FOCUS mode. It is usually shown with a FLOWER for MACRO... You get AF / FLOWER / MOUNTAIN / MANUAL (may not have this)

Plase make sure your FOCUS MODE is in AF AF is the ONLY Mode where the camera will focus CLOSE and FAR... Light is not your problem..... It seems it is your FOCUS MODE.

How to improve picture quality of Digital Camera

Slow down the shutter speed of your digital camera. Whenever you must take a photo in a low light environment decrease your shutter speed. It is virtually impossible to take a blurry digital photo with a an extremely slow shutter speed. Even if your digital camera has an automatic or semi-automatic mode, slowing down the shutter speed will still produce a better digital photo.
Wait until your digital camera is completely focused. Most digital cameras will notify you that they are focus ready by a blinking light, on screen indicator or a noise. Confirm that your digital camera has locked onto your desired target before pressing the shutter release button. Some digital cameras may have trouble focusing on subjects easily. If this happens use an auto focus mode to produce a better digital photo.
Prevent your digital camera from shaking. Shaky hands or sudden movement will definitely produce a blurry digital photo. When holding your digital camera, make sure the viewfinder is firmly pressed against your face before snapping a digital photo. If you do not have image stabilization on your digital camera, then think about investing in a tripod. This will allow you to steady your digital camera for the perfect shot.
Make sure the digital image is definitely a blurry one and not just a soft image. On many occasions soft images are mistaken for blurry ones. Soft images occur often with digital cameras. When printing these images, the softness rarely shows through. You will be able to easily edit these photos by sharpening the details for a better printing experience.
Take your time. Instead of rushing to take a digital photo, set aside enough time to shoot your image. Hurrying up will not produce an excellent digital photo. You don't need to be overwhelmingly slow when taking the photo, but try your best not to take a hasty one.

My focus button keeps sticking on my Fujifilm S2000HD camera.?

Have you tried focusing before you take a photo? To do this, press down the shutter button on your camera but don't push it far enough to take a photo. This enables the camera to focus on what it's about to photograph before you press the shutter button again and take the photo.

The picture has a delayed action

It's not possible to take a photo in a second, because the camera needs to get in focus the object you're taking picture of.

You have a square on your display that indicates where the focus will be.
With whatever function you use, you need to press the shutter button halfway and wait for the camera to focus on the object. When it's focused you will hear the click and the square will turn green.
Now your pictures shouldn't be blurry.

NIKON Coolplix S210 can't take photo in flash mode

If the flash is on and you can't take photos, it could be that the flash circuit has gone bad. Make sure the camera is focused first though, before you try to take the pictures. Many times if the camera can't focus on something, it wont take a picture.

Digital camera only takes blurry pictures

there are two thing that make this problem: 1. if your photos has shadow so you must decrease the shutter time or increase the ISO to solve the problem. 2. but if your photos are out of focus make sure that you select the suitable f.Stop and when you want to take photo first press shutter button halfway to make the camera focus and then check the focus point on display. if it's ok, press shutter fully and if it's not good try again. I hope this helps...

The camera takes too long to take a photo. What should I do?

Press the shutter button halfway and hold it to set the focus, then press it the rest of the way down to take a photo. If you press the shutter button down all the way at once, it takes time to focus and set the exposure before the shutter releases. It may take longer than when pressing the shutter button in two steps.
