Due to the power issue, my nikon cool pix 8800vr charger is down.
Could anyone suggest me where to buy the charger model - mh56.
It would be very great help if you could give this information since I have plan for trekking very recently.

Hi Bobby - Although you COULD get a replacement from Nikon, it's the kind of job best left to professionals due to the high voltages involved. Granted, you may only put a couple of 1.5 v batteries in it, but the camera jacks that up to around 4,000 v to fire the flash.
Unless the camera had been dropped or something, the flash should have lasted the life of the camera. Its very likely that another part of the camera's control circuitry (such as the high voltage limiter) has failed. Best to play it safe.
