Hello, my name is Don, I've had my TV for about 2 1/2 yrs now and I went out for holidays and 3 months later even when everything was unplugged I tried to turn the TV on and I get no picture at all, I have my cable box hooked to the TV and I can hear all the channels playing with volume only but I can not see any picture, I am wondering if it is only something that I should RESET or should I take it down to the technicians for a check up and repair. It is a SAMSUNG LNS4041DX/XAA Version AM04. If you can help me with some advice you could write me back to [email protected] and I will appreciate it very much. Ur LCD inverter backlight board is dead.Replaced this LCD inverter baclight board will get ur picture back.Tries Websites Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a LCD inverter backlight board for the replacement.It a long board in shape.
I've got the same problem. lcd inverter backlight board ...but now I'm wondering..sometimes it comes on I suspected it was overheating. I found all the repairs on youtube but I didn't see this one. I guess we're lucky it happened later than most. I had it "reprogrammed" and it worked great for 3 weeks then poof...a week later, its working again...a week later no picture.
