Hello, I have had this Daewoo TV for around 3 years now and have had the problem for probly 2/3 years but it is just getting too frequent and unbearable now. The issue at hand is; everytime I use the "line" function (DVD, XBox, etc.) on the TV, the picture gets dark, flickers, and cuts out on random occasions. If I try to solve this problem by messing with the yellow, white, red cords in the back it makes the problem worse and can cause both the sound and picture to cut out and can take upwards of a half hour to fiddle with to get both back and working for the time being. I can solve the problem by tapping, sometimes hitting with great force, the side of my TV and the picture knocks back into place after a few whaps or shakes. I really want to get this problem fixed as it is driving me crazy. What is the problem and what should I do??? Thanks in advance.

Hello, not positive what part you need...but it sounds like maybe the main board needs replacing. I have purchased parts many times from a company named ShopJimmy.com. I included a link to the part from their site for your model. Hope that helps!

Chances are you have LED lamps in the panel that are bad and need replacing..look at spending at least $150 to get it repaired, for this TV 3 yrs is longer then they typically last, they aren't exactly high quality sets

I hope your tv is the power problem or the main board.
But if this the back light problem then you don't need to repair your tv just sale as part (cause this back light part is hard to find and the cost is high).

there is a broken conductor strip or broken solder joint on the circuit board near the power input jack. do this:
1.) disconnect tv and open panel to expose circuit board.
2.) using a flashlight and magnifying glass, look carefully for this broken solder strip or solder joint. Flex board slightly if necessary to aid in finding the break.
3.) repair it using solder iron and flux solder and scratch copper conductor slightly to aid in "wetting" the solder fix.
It sounds like you have a "pin cushion" problem. There is a "pincushion circuit in your set that causes it to make a "square" picture. Some component in this circuit has failed.
I am assuming that your set is the "picture tube" type--- not LCD or Plasma.
You need to have a tech check it for you.
