I dont have the software for lexmark 515 printer what do i need to do?

As you correctly point out the dell printer does not have driver for mac.
I dont think having a lexmark driver will work as the printer will still say its a dell to your computer.
You may have to borrow a printer that is mac compatible or save files to windows format and print on friends computer.

1. Remove print jobs at your computer if present
   
2. Turn off printer
3. Disconnect printer power supply
4. Wait 30 seconds
5. Reconnect printer power supply
6. Turn on printer
   

If you use a refilled cartridge all print quality problems should go back to the supplier of the ink.

Lexmark does not now and never has authorized refilled cartridges on their products for this exact reason.

Lexmark cannot guarantee the quality of the ink.

You do not say what problem you are having.

Before you plug in your Lexmark, you run the CD first and install drivers for Vista.

I don't know where you are, but go to www.lexmark.co.uk and find your printer under the downloads/drivers. Follow the link and you can download the installation disk from there. Hope I am right.
