Hi , it seems you are experimenting a light engine problem. Here's how your tv works: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZLLHnQ4y-wo Basically there's 3 LCD chips that create the colors and image by blending together. When these chips start to melt you will get those blue spots, pixilation even vertical lines. You will need to replace the light engine. You can find it here: http://www.discount-merchant.com/PANASONIC-521A2C52-p/1177904.htm Have a blessed one!

Green haze on panasonic pt-52lcx15

Your EEPROM is corrupted and needs to be reprogrammed. You need a EEPROM data corection tool. Part# LSUQ0100. It will come with instructions on how to restore your EEPROM data. Good luck.

I have a Panasonic PT-52LCX15. 3 months ago I changed the lamp and now I have a blue -ish line along the left side of the screen?????

This sounds like a damaged optical light engine.

This set uses a L shaped engine--the lamp shines into it and heat from the lamp can cause the prisms/lens inside to warp slightly(hint: blue is the first part of the engine to get the light from the lamp--usually shows first).

If no extended warranty it is going to be an expensive repair--the engine is the most expensive part of the set.

Let me know with a comment here if you have questions.

I have a panasonic model PT-52LCX15 and and as a today dont stay on. It was a light or two like a ''flaslight Pointing at the screen.'' Now I put it on the light on th ''on'' botton goes green then turns...

I have the same one that I bought from Sam's in 2006. My lamp (TY-LA1000) just burned out recently. Most likely that is the same issue for your TV as well. You can buy direct from Pansonic or lookup on one of the many providers online. You can buy the lamp with housing or for less money you can buy just the lamp and use existing housing but will require more time.

I have a PT44LX65, Green and blue spot after lamp changed

It is better to contact your local Panasonic authorized service center. This issue is easy fix by connecting special Panasonic-issued tool (programmer) to restore corrupted file in EEPROM inside of your TV. Rear cover have to be removed, tool plugged in service socket and 15 minutes later your screen will be as good as new.
Without this tool - I would say it's impossible unless you have experience in hacking memory devices. And still got to find original file and download it into EEPROM.
Good luck!

Panasonic PT-52LCX15- Have a Blue hue along bottom and on part of screen, replaced bulb 2 times, same and used a philips and now panasonic bulb and housings. Any suggestions? Projector? Time to call...

This is a 2005 model; it sounds like you have a burnt optical light engine: part number is

TZSC03047 Part is about 800 dollars and requires tech approval from Panasonic to buy. A number of these optical engines use an elaborate system of lens---the heat from the lamp can damage the lens and the color that is damaged separates enough inside to cause the blue streak somewhere on the screen. I hope you have an extended warranty on this set.

I do this here for free so if this has helped you give me a vote here.

Light green and pink spots on my hd tv!!!

For the spots....

I had the same problem, first a blue spot then a green spot showed up. I contacted Panasonic Customer Support. They sent someone out and they fixed the TV for free. They reprogrammed the EEPROM chip in the TV. It is a defect. My TV was 4 years old and out of warranty. They came out last week.

So long as it is not happening by something you have done. It will be fixed free of charge. Call them, it solves the problem.
