Hello,
The bottom piece should be empty when you use your machine. Make sure you rinse it our real good when you are finished.

I hope this helps.

How to remove dirty water tank on Regina steam 7.0

To remove the dirty water tank on a Regina Steam 7.0, follow these general steps:
  1. Turn off the steam cleaner and unplug it from the power source for safety.
  2. Locate the dirty water tank, which is usually at the back or bottom of the steam cleaner.
  3. Check for any locking mechanisms or latches that secure the tank in place.
  4. Release the locking mechanism or unlatch the tank to remove it from the steam cleaner.
  5. Gently pull the tank out of its slot or compartment, being careful not to spill any dirty water.
  6. Empty the dirty water from the tank into a sink or drain.
  7. Rinse the tank with clean water to remove any remaining dirt or debris.
  8. Once the tank is clean and dry, place it back into its slot or compartment in the steam cleaner.
  9. Ensure the tank is securely locked or latched in place before using the steam cleaner again.

Steam Vac Ultra five rotating brushes won't ****

ITS THE DUCT PIECE ON THE FRONT OF THE DIRTY WATER TANK (DWT). ITS NOT LINED UP.
1. TAKE LID OFF OF DWT
2. SLIDE THE LITTLE SQUARE PIECE (5'X5'X1) (THE DUCT) ON THE FRONT OF THE DWT AS FAR UP AS POSSIBLE AND IF IT BENDS FORWARD FROM THE TOP, DO THAT TOO (SOME MODELS OPEN LIKE A DOOR TOP DOWN, OTHERS JUST SLIDE UP AND OUT COMPLETELY)
3. SLIDE THAT DUCT BACK DOWN AS FAR DOWN AND BACK AS IT WILL GO.
4. PUT THE LID BACK ON BY HINGING THE FRONT LATCHES ON AND THEN SNAPPING THE BACK SIDE DOWN.
5. CHECK TO SEE IF THAT DUCT PIECE ON THE FRONT IS LOOSE BY PUSHING ON IT AND SEEING IF IT MOVES UP AND DOWN.
IF IT IS, THE LID ISNT COMPLETELY ON, GO BACK TO STEP 4.
IF THE DUCT IS SNUG, CONGRATS YOU SHOULD HAVE JUST MADE YOUR STEAM VAC **** UP THE WATER AGAIN.

The steam vac will not pick up dirty water. I never had this problem with a steam cleaner. I bought Hoover because of its reputation and I cannot get the suction on the bottom container to work. This...

The most common reason for lack of pick up is that the lid is not fully seated on the dirty water tank. Be sure to hook the two tabs on the front of the lid, and then snap the rear latch into place. Another reason is that the duct on the front of the dirty water tank is missing. The duct may have been removed to install the hose, and was not put back in place. It is a square plastic piece, about the size of a slice of sandwich bread, which slides into the front of the tank. On new models the duct tilts forward and cannot be removed. A far less common reason for no pick-up is that the seal that the tank sits on has fallen off the motor cover suction tube. You will see a round tube on the bottom of the dirty water tank. This sits on top of a large rubber seal on the motor cover when the tank is in place. Be sure the seal has not fallen down into the hood.

Using my hoover steam vac tonight and too much water coming out. once it's turned on, water and shampoo continuously come out underneath until tanks are empty. looks to be leaking from left side bottom as...

make sure that you have filled everthing properly and the hoover steam is in a good condition. or check else is there any loose coonections in the bottom of the hoover, which makes the tank empty.
if the problem persists take it to service.

Empty dirty water tank, replaced it and then started to clean again. It did not **** up the water.

The only reason for no pick up is an air leak. The most likely problem is that the lid is not properly seated on the dirty water tank. A less common problem is that the round rubber seal the tank sits on is out of place.

Hoover Steam Vac clean water tank valve leaks

a) make sure that there is not a place for a stair attachment. If
there is make sure air is not leaking through where the attachment goes
on because of damaged or misplaced fitting.

b) some steam vacs leave water behind them and **** up in front of
them. If you just walked forwad with the steam vac nothing would be
sucked into the tank.

c) try taking your finger off the trigger and using the steam vac. If
the tank still empties the trigger is stuck open.

d) try putting clean water in the dirty water tank only and using it on
a dry rug. If water goes somewhere from the dirty water tank you have
a leak.

e) take apart what you can and look at the parts. A good visual
inspection can solve many of these types of problem if you are careful
not to miss anything.
