My clarion vrx486vd doesnt work when i put in a vcd that i put in. Its just music clips. i used nero to make the video. anyone know what format the dvd player supports?

Hmm, I don't work much with VCDs since the advent of DVDs and the ubiquity of CD/DVD dual format drives.
However I think you could do this if you captured the contents of VCD as a stream to hard disk. However this could yield a realllll big file, say 2-4 GB .avi file or worse. I dunno, I have never gone down this road. Then, use Nero to split the file up into smaller parts, or use some other .avi splitter to do it. You may run into file size issues though esp. if you are using trialware to do it.
Then, assemble the clips as you want and burn stuff onto CDs.
I would recommend though going with a DVD instead. You can get pluggable DVD burners for cheap these days at retail or over the web.
