It could just be the load is out of balance which would mean redistributing the load or adding something if you only have one or two items in the drum. The other scenario is the pressure chamber has blocked and the machine thinks the drum is still full of water. To find out if it is the pressure chamber remove the lid off the machine, locate the pressure switch, it will probably be round in shape and about 3 inches across with a few wires comeing out one side and a rubber hose connected to the under side. Remove this hose carefully and listen for a click as you do so, if the chamber is blocked you will hear the click because the switch is resetting. Now follow the hose down and it will lead you to the chamber, remove it and clean it out, dont be tempted to just blow down the pipe because that is not a lasting solution and will block again in no time. Before putting your hands in the machine turn off the power and remove the mains plug.
