My computer's comfugration is hdd40,p4,motherboard845.My computer has mediaplayer problem in it. every thing is ok in it but we can play any thing except mp3. There is not such type of mediaplyer that you see genuraly in window xp (mediaplayer 11) it's colour is black.

Try to install VLC if mp3 play, you need to install audio codec for media player 11 that available at Microsoft website.

Try to download VLC-mediaplayer from:Videolan.org and try with this program. and/or:
i allways use Mediaplayer Classic http://mpc-hc.sourceforge.net/ this works really well for me
and plays ALL Media. also download and install FFDSHOW: http://www.free-codecs.com/download/ffdshow.htm (this is the codec for media files)
