Prinshop 23 Deluxe, fix character banner display in calendar

This is a fix easier explained than titled...

When using Calendar Creator in Printshop 23 Deluxe you can add multiple events across multiple days. But while a single event can use box, when adding multiple events it cuts off the message so many use banner to get them in the box for that day. The problem is that when you print, although the box event prints fine, the banner events will cut off part of the last character on the right side. This effects any character including space, so to fix this; just add a space at the end of each event you're importing.

Global Modification to get rid of Time of Events. I've been using CC for years for a family calendar. Now as I move data into CC10 this year, suddenly times are added to each event (birthdays, ann

If you are using Calendar Creator (CC) version 10 and you want to remove the time of events from the calendar, you can do so by following these steps:
  1. Open Calendar Creator and select the calendar that you want to modify.
  2. Click on the "Edit" menu and choose "Global Modification".
  3. In the "Global Modification" window, select the "Date/Time" tab.
  4. Under "Date/Time Format", select the option for "Date only" and click "OK".
  5. The time of events will now be removed from the calendar.
Keep in mind that this change will apply to all events on the calendar, so any events that have a specific time associated with them will no longer display the time on the calendar. If you only want to remove the time of certain events, you will need to modify those events individually.

I am currently using both Print Shop 5.0 Premier and Print Shop 10. I am switching to a new computer with Windows 7 and will need to install Print Shop 23 Deluxe. Will I be able to retrieve all the files I created in Print Shop 5.0 Premier and Print Shop 10?

I will advice you to locate the print-shop folders that are on your computer. or simple open one of the files you created with this software and right click file location. it will open where all the other files are stored on your computer. backup everything stored on your computer to a flash drive.
Let me know if this solution helps.

I have Calandar Creator 10 and have created a family calandar which I use from year to year that includes birthday events, holidays etc. and phases of the moon. This year, when I went from Dec. 2010 to Jan. 2011, phases of the moon dropped off my event list. I tried going back and extending the finish date on Phases of the moon, but it still won't appear on my 2011 calandar. Does the program automatically end phases of the moon in 2010 - or what do I need to do to fix it?? James R. White

Calendar Creator 10 has the four moon phases from Jan 1990 thru Dec 2010. To extend past 2010:
- File Open Collection ' Local Disk(c:)'Program Files'Calendar Creator' Template'Events'Phases of the Moon.bcc
-For each of the four events (First Quarter, Full Moon, Last Quarter, and New Moon) change the Repeat Until date past 12/31/2010 to 12/31 of the year you will add data for
-For each of the four events, click Advanced Repeat Rule you can selete the drop down under Exceptions / Pick exception and there you can see the dates by month and year from Jan 1990 thru Dec 2010 for the event. You need to extend this list. First obtain the moon phases from some web site like www.timeanddate.com/calendar. (note that this site calculates the mone phases base on New York time). The simply select each of the dates for the event you are modifying by clicking that date on the calendar in the upper right hand of the screen. Just advance the calendar thru the months and years you want to enter data for. You can check the list when finished by selection the ExceptionS Pick exception drop down box.
- Save your changes by clicking OK and Ok again. Make changes for all for events.
- Select File and Save Collection
- You need to replace the Phases of the moon events in your calendar by removing the old events and importing the new events. To remove the old Phases of the moon in your calendar, select Events'Categories highlight Phases of the moon and delete. Then add back the changed events by File'Import Events and browse for the Phases of the moon.bcc file you changed.
I hope this gets you what you need.

My system is windows vista 64 bit. Print shop

you have to go to the help section or help tab at the top of your printshop window, on your printshop program...and then click technical support , and it will give you options...click on the option of troubleshooting and it will take you to the broderbund direct online troubleshooting page, and click on the appropriate option for windows vista 64bit, and it will walk you through step by step; which involves going into your printer port settings under control panel section of your computer, and just follow the online directions...I just did it and my newsletter on printshop 23 deluxe is now saving without problems!
