I have the same TV. The lamp probably needs replacing. You can check it by pulling out the lamp and housing. The Lamp door is on the right side of the TV just behind the buttons. The Lamp pulls out pretty easy and has a little tab that holds it in place.
Are the red and green lights blinking at the same rate or not? If the green light is blinking every 3 seconds and the red light is blinking every 1/2 second, the lamp door is not properly secured. If both lights are blinking at 1 second intervals, try replacing the lamp. If a new lamp doesn't solve the problem, the TV needs service.
The lamp is finished. Order a new lamp using the code on the side of the TV. Remove the lamp door on the back of the TV (4 screws) and then remove the lamp (1 screw). Have a look at the lamp... is it damaged? See my tips & tricks if you want to learn more about the lamp.
Listen closely. The tv should make a high pitch whine as it turns on. If it does wait and see if it tries this a few times. If yes then check the bulb, I have seen cases where the lamp shoves the power connector back into the set. If the tv starts with a grown or heavy vibration noise, then your color wheel may have broken and needs replaced.
