Motorola i860 keeps shuting off

if you know bit of minor repairs just open the cover and all the screws go to the microphone and stretch the springs on both sides and fix it as you opened then it will work perfectly if you dont know just take it to the repairer

No, the i860 is a Nextel phone and uses iDEN as its technology.

Services like AT&T and T-Mobile use GSM, and only those types of SIM cards would work with each other.

While the i860 does take a SIM card, it is a very different SIM for different technology, and are completely not compatible. Sorry....

my phone is not working it has subsidy lock

the phone needs to be reflash take it to a mobile service center and have them fix it for you.

Try a new battery,if that does not work the phone that have the phone reflash.

if u are facing this problem might be it is  because of virus please install antivirus on ur mobile .if anti virus is already installed then do soft reset ur mobile if same problem will persist  flash ur mobile from service provider

Nextel Phones do not work on cingular

I as well have this problem... just bought a phone on Craigslist, i860. I checked and mute is not on, so I think the phone is hosed.

buy a back housing...that will solve your problem
