Question about Samsung 52 in. Flat-Panel LCD HDTV
On an Avol ALT42FD120, how can i change the frame rate from 60 to 120hz? I cannot find the option, tho it is a 42in 120hz tv, and when i press "Display" on the given remote the tv only shows its running at 1080p 60hz. Thx
Hi. It is entirely possible that the set is already running at 120Hz after all. The display 1080p 60Hz is merely the signal it is receiving and the earlier TV's that used to claim 100Hz/120Hz merely did so using line doubling only to give a clearer picture by filling in the blanks between scanlines. If your picture is already very clear, then I wouldn't worry about it
