I purchased an HTC TYTN II phone but do not know how to sync it to my PC. I did not recieve a software CD. I have already downloaded Windows Mobile Device Center to my computer -- it runs Windows...

The htc handsets all come with software that allow you to connect to the computer, it will interface with Windows. The physical connection is the USB on your PC to the Mini USB on the phone. This HTC come with this lead (your probably using to charge the unit).

Once connect you can download all sorts of things.

Hope this helps

If you want to use a USB cable connection, you must first install Microsoft ActiveSync version 4.2 or later on the computer.
Before using Internet Sharing, disable ActiveSync on your computer.
To set up your device as a USB modem
1. On your device, tap Start > Programs > Internet Sharing.
2. In the PC Connection list, select USB.
3. In the Network Connection list, select the name of the connection that your device uses to connect to the Internet.
4. Plug in the USB cable between your device and the computer.
5. Tap Connect.
To end the Internet connection
On the Internet Sharing screen, tap Disconnect.

Connecting internet through tytn II

You need to install Activesync on your Laptop.

Then connect the device via USB. Once connected open the Comm manager, then you can select "Internet Sharing"

Select USB, and the network connection you want to use, then hit the connect button. You should see the laptop pick up and get an IP from the new connection.

Then you will be connected via your active network connection from the phone :)
