Usb power warning upon UFH-421 installation.

Hello,
You will remove the CMOS battery and wait for 5 minutes .
Hope it will solve.
If the problem is same please change or clean the RAM with eraser and install it again.
If the problem is same please ,

If all the procedure will fail think your mobo should change as new.

Run "Windows Update", to see if it will find updated device-drivers for the specific USB hardware on the motherboard.

Access the ASUS web-site, and search for 'P6T', and search for USB device-drivers for Windows 7 -- if none are found, try the device-drivers for Windows Vista.

I like the three year warranty that Asus provides. Most MB manufactures only warrant their boards for 1 year.

No that is not true. Though the percentage is higher if you try to overclock on that motherboard. As long as you don;t do any overclocking you should be fine.

Restore your PC before the BIOS update. BIOS updates are not required until & unless you face problems while running a software and it will prompt you for BIOS update. Do this update if its vital othewise do not intergere in the BIOS. I faced the same problem and after unistalling all drivers and again reload the original driver from MB VD slved it. Another thing in BIOS is USB setting at high-spped & full-speed. Try changing those settings and retry. Mine worked!...sodeep

ensure you have a firewire connector on the back of the unit, if not you will need to install a PCI card to do same, or use the supplied USB adapter with this hub, install the drivers for sure,check with MY COMPUTER?PROPERTIES?DEVICE MANAGER that you have a 1394 device installed.
