I have a hard disk in an encloser and it fell on the floor after that it start ticking but not starting , I search the internet for solution and all came to the same result the reading head is damage any way to recover my data ?

it will only schedule on restart if its the Primary hard drive with an operating system on it

I have 120 Gb Hitachi Hdd it has not undergone any shocks either but suddenly stopped working one fine day since april,
the data recovery guys say that i need to give them a Hdd with same config wt do i do it is opened once i am myself an electronics guy.
So can i do the changes on my own replacing the old hdd integrals with a new one.
