Does your psp stay black, cause if it does im afraid you have bricked your psp. the only thing to do is using an unbricking software which i do not believe in .... , or get a new motherboard....

Hello, hold SELECT and START and TRIANGLE and SQUARE = hold these 4 buttons while you start up the psp, hold until the psp shows a blank screen, then it will show the initial setup screen.
You'll need to hard reset your PSP and restore it to its factory settings. Once this is done, your PSP should work perfectly.
Hold the power button on the right side of your PSP down until the device completely powers off. Wait at least five seconds after the power is off before proceeding to the next step.
Press and hold the Select and Start buttons located in the bottom right corner of the PSP.
Press and hold the Square and Triangle buttons (located on the directional pad) while continuing to hold the Select and Start buttons.
Press the power button while holding these four buttons. When the flash (logo) screen appears, you can release the four buttons and your PSP will be reset to its factory settings and the screen will no longer be blank.
ok if tis a psp fat or psp slim you can rehack your psp if you send it to sony they will not use a unhackable version the version doesnt really concern the hack its more the psp itself. but if its psp phat/slim just rehack.
did u format the memory card from the psp?
if yes then
remove the memory card and then try to start the psp
if still not starting then remove the battery umd and memory card from psp
and leave it for a day and then try inserting only the battery n make sure that thee is enough charge left on the battery
and if still the problem persists then plz tell me when u connect the charger does the charging indicator glow ?
do you have custom firmware (is it modded) if so you probbably frgot to put it in m33 driver. press select at mennue (if it is modded) and go to umd iso mod, chane it to m33 driver, that's all i can say
Maybe you could charge it for a couple of hours. If that doesnt work You might be holding the button to long the psp has hold flick the button up quickly
it sounds like you have a docking station? if so try using the charger that came with it.(make sure whatever the charger is plugged into has power and dont assume if its on a power stip and other things that are plugged have power doesnt mean one outlet on the strip can go bad. If trying another charger doesnt work try a new battery keep the reciept in case it still doesnt so you can return the battery. If none of these tips help then your psp (MAY) have taken a crash.
