I have a Canon zr45mc, and I cannot download video to Windows Vista. Vista claims to need a device driver; I can't find one online and Canon's website both says that no driver is needed and that an updated driver isn't supported for Vista. The computer recognizes that the camera is plugged in (I'm doing this via UBS) when it's on "Tape", but as soon as I switch to "Video" the computer says that there's no device.
A USB cable will not transfer video from this camera. you have to have the video cable, which plugs in at the bottom of the front of the camera, next to the S-video. Hope this helps.
Try running the program in compatability mode
properties/compatability tab /select windows xp
ZoomBrowser EX is currently openned by a different user. You will have to Switch Users and close ZoomBrowser EX, before continuing.
That's the message I get everytime I try to open ZoomBrowser EX - Jun P.

I have the same problem.
Computer can't find camera device
When I tried to download pics from my camcorder it read that there are compatabilty problems with windows vista. It did however note that I was connected by USB, but it did not download and I was not given any solutions. It also noted that my zoombrowzer is being used, how is that possible?
