If you use a laptop then the keys should be able to come off. You probably have something stuck underneath the keys. Get a small screwdriver and slowly prise the key off. give the key a good wipe underneath the key and on the connetion.

Repair ACER Keyboard

Many a times, laptop's keys fell off the keyboard or it gets damaged. Don't fret on buying a whole new keyboard when you can repair the keys yourself.
This is an installation guide to repair keys of Acer’s laptop keyboard.

You should have a key cap and 2 or more retainer clips (plastic pieces), that goes underneath the key cap.

To install the key on your laptop keyboard, start out by observing the metal plates on the keyboard.

Always be sure to look at the metal keys because they differ in every keyboard. The larger metal hooks can be at the top, bottom, right or left side. The position of the metal hooks determines the position of plastic pieces.

Take the smaller plastic piece and observe that it has two holes at the top, two sticks at the middle and a bar with larger hole at the bottom. The sticks in the middle are going to go into the middle holes of the larger plastic piece. The bottom bar is going to click onto the bottom metal hook on the keyboard. While I am typing keys will stick like lllllllllllllllllllllll all across the page until finally it stops. How do I fix this?

blow out the keyboard and keys, with 'compressed air' cleaner~should solve problem

if not, then may have to remove individual key sticking and clean with q-tip n alcohol
be careful when removing keys, make sure to disconnect from computor first and remove battery if necessary~this way it wont connect to computor when replacing keys

Keys sticking

I don't know which keys are sticking, but if they do stick, it usually means it's time for a new keyboard. Desktop keyboards are relatively easy to clean. No so with laptops.

I'd be looking for a new keyboard. Try E-bay first for the best price.

No external wireless switch - how do I turn on wireless function on a fujitsu siemens laptop ?

I don't know that particular model, but in most laptops without a switch, there is a key on the keyboard that has a wireless little logo. The key usually works by pressing it simultaneously with the "f'n' (function) key. The wireless key is usually located at the first row of keys (the function keys, F1, F2 and so on). Hope that helps

The keys on my keyboard keep sticking. this is a

HI,

If the keyboard is so new that you can take it back with the receipt, you should do so. Some keyboards are just not made very well, or if normally a good product, you may simply have a defective one. No reason to keep it if you can return it. There is not an adequate way of fixing keys that stick. Usually that can be caused by spilling something like a sugary drink or coffee onto it, or if it has been exposed to direct sunlight for a long period of time, which could cause the plastic to warp.

on most keyboad you can take of each key. Try to get a flat head screw driver and pop it of with some force. You then can clean the keys. If this does not work you might need a new keyboard. Do not use water (or very little)
