The key is stored in the Windows Registry. This is a dangerous place to be if you don't know that you are doing. It contains all the stuff that makes software work.
Click Start/Run
type 'regedit' and press enter.
Then use the Search feature for the Software name. The will be hundreds of entries, (from memory press F3 for moving to the next one) but one will say 'Key'. You can copy the key and then put it in the corresponding place on the new PC. You must reboot the new PC for the changes to stick.
Use the Backup Feature on both machines before doing anything in there.
You should find it in the section HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE

if your talking about the ea registration, then just go to your game directory and delete all of the application extensions EXCEPT binkw32.dll. The game should start with the CD without that awful ea box Enjoy
