Does it work on a different operating system, i.e Windows XP? Can you post the exact model of that MP4 player, it might help if we could find the correct drivers for that player.
Windows 98 has no support for newer USB flash-drives.
Windows XP has full support for newer USB flash-drives -- if it cannot find the driver on your 'C:' disk, it will access the Internet to download the drivers from Microsoft's web-site, automatically.
Go to Control Panel - System - Device Manager and right-click on each of the hardware components where you need drivers. There will be a description of each item, so then you can download the drivers. Good luck
the windows xp sp1a drivers should work fine on the sp2 after you get the network card working try windows updated to see if it list any new updated drivers
Go to download.com and get Driver Magician Lite 3.44. Download it to a flash drive. Plug the drive into the computer and install DML. When it has run, save the non-Windows drivers back to the flash drive. Now you have all of the drivers from your computer that do not come with Windows. You can leave them on the flash drive or burn them to cd.
just go to system properties in control panel and in that hardware tab select device manager see any question mark or exclamation mark in yellow colour appear when u connect u r USB 2.0 flash drive if it appears then u should install driver for that or else
on windows xp what service pack r u running just check it i.e, Right click on my computer go to properties if it is Service pack 2 then problem will not come if it comes just install drivers or else if it is Service Pack 1 then upgrade to Service Pack 2
u can find Service Packs in Microsoft.com in downloads
