My HP w2228h LCD monitor has all of a sudden gone

My HP w2228h LCD HDMI monitor has all of a sudden gone blury/fuzzy. I can still make out what is on the screen but reading is very difficult. I have tried to adjust the resolution settings but nothing came close to fixing it. I have even ran the HP auto monitor adjust wizard but nothing. Any have any ideas or have experienced this before??? There is also a strip accross the top of the screen which is discoloured (brighter thean the rest of the screen.

Go to bios and see whether the lines are there or the screen is fuzzy or not
if it is then the monitor has gone bad and if not update the bios
download bios update frm HP.com

ASUS DISPLAYS are pretty FUZZY, HARD TO REPAIR but also HD and VIVID. ASUS DISPLAYS are usually HARD SEALED from the inside. Try paying it a rest and RESTARTING . Doesn't work? , DETACH the STAND to make it easy to work. The SCREWS to OPEN an LCD MONITOR are usually near the VGA/DVI/HDMI CONNECTORS. HOPE THIS HELPS.

Dual Monitors - why does my second monitor have bad picture?

As long as something isnt broken, using the HDMI and the D-Sub should be fine. From your fuzzy pictures I suggest that you want to double-check your cables.

Have you tried to switch it? If you put the second monitor on the D-SUB and the picture is still faulty, its very likely the problem is your monitor.

No display,but it has power white screen first then slowly it became black screen

My HP w2228h monitor randomly decides to go black and go to sleep. I cannot wake it up. The only way around this is to hold the on/off button down and completely shut down the cpu but I don't like doing...

You will need to update your video/graphics driver for your computer/laptop. This will fix the communication between your computer and the monitor.

I have a laptop inspiron 1525 vista. and everytime i turn it on it's always blury and fuzzy red on the screen all over!...why?! someone please help.

is the VGA driver installed?fine if it is....try connecting to an external monitor...if u still get the same blury or fuzzy red on the screen or all ova...have an expert look @ it and possibly change it.
