LG Chocolate My problem with the phone is new. I have gone through three new batteries and within 8 hours of being charged my phone dies. Verizon told me its the battery....3 later same problem. The phone is charging when plugged in....just not holding a charge longer than 8 hours. Verizon keeps telling me it the battery.....but how many BAD batteries can one get in a row? Anybody have any suggestions?

It sounds like you need to replace your battery. But first, if you're using a home charger, try charging the phone with a car charger (or vice versa). If the problem is not with your charger, then replace your battery.
When you get your new battery: 1) Make sure you are using the proper charger for your phone (not one of the cheep $5 kind), and 2) charge your battery for at least 12 hours before you use it for the first time.
Yes that has happen to my lg dare! it has to be flashed again! take it to a local verizon store and ask them can you flash you phone, it should be free of charge!
it make take 30 mins or so, but after that you should be on your way back to texting!!! lol 8-)
i have a very similar problem, my phone just shows the LG logo and switches on and off, and the touch pad comes on but that is all. i don't have a warranty any more though..
The problem could be one of two things - the phone, or your charger.
Most likely the problem is with the phone, since it's pretty rare for a charger to cause problems this severe. I would recommend taking it into your carrier's local store and trying to get it replaced.
