Turn the T/W off and slide the carrier back and forth. If it goes to the left then you have the L. margin set at 80.

Return to the margin, press and release the margin release key, backspace to the desired location, press the L. margin key.

The lever that drops the slides gets stuck in the 'up' position when the carousel is on the projector but it works fine when there is no carousel attached. When it gets stuck you have to take the carousel...

If you are using a 140 tray with older slides, that's very logical! Over time, slides develop a "side-to-side curve". Because the Carousel 140 tray stretches the design limits of the projector to be able to accurately return the slide to the tray, the slightest bend or "dog-ear"(the fraying of the corner of the slide) will cause exactly the problem you're having. If you have a Kodak 80-Slide tray, try it. Chances are that it will work fine. If it does work fine, then you have 2 options: 1. Move all your slides into Carousel 80 Trays.
2. Have your slides re-mounted (that is, have the paper mounts replaced).
I hope this helps !!

When loading 1st sheet of paper, the white guide bar on the left does not move to the right & the paper jams between the print head & the curved guide above. Chris of Devon England.

Hi, this is a vey common fault. If you look down where the white runner is you should be able to see two grooves cut in the base of the unit. This is the guide for the white plastic arm you are referring to. What you need to do is take a paper clip, open it out so you have a pointed end available. Push it in to these grooves and run it along to the left hand side. You'll find paper debris is stuck in these grooves which prevents the printhead from pushing the white arm across enough so it will not return. Because the arm cannot get far enough to the left hand side it sticks and you will encounter paper jammimg under the plastic guide on top of the printer. This is a very common problem on this model of printer and the Oki 520

Where do you add the paper on a canon bjc-8o/color bubble jet printer ?

Hello,

Could not find info on a BJC-80 but did find a BJC-85. Since they are similiar you can go to:

http://gdlp01.c-wss.com/gds/0900007433/BJC-85_Setup.pdf

This is a setup guide. Go to step 5 which explains paper input and orientation.

OK, I did find a user guide for the BJC-80. here is a link:

http://gdlp01.c-wss.com/gds/0900007420/BJC80_user_manual.pdf

Go to Chapter 3 for info on "Paper Handling".

Thanks for using Fixya.
