The ready light never turns green, it just stays red. Will not flash. Could it be that the bulb needs replacing, and can that be done by me? I have a wedding next weekend, and really need to have it by then... ugh! I have replaced the batteries as well.

The ready light is not supposed to turn green,it only glows red.

For a start check the trouble shooting guide in the User Manual - page 84 - 86 to see if this helps.

The flash tube needs to be changed by a Nikon Service Centre

Trying to replace lamp in HDTV and having trouble. Does not function correctly after putting in new bulb. Boots up and then visuals go black and the green power light keeps flashing. Help?

Panasonic DLP TV Bulbs

Make sure its an original Osram or Philips bulb inside the housing. If its a cheap lamp it will act this way. If it is an original lamp, then you may have a power supply issue. It shouldn't affect your TV but you may want to try resetting the lamp timer by following the instructions that came with the lamp.

TY-LA1001 Timer reset

While pressing the VOL- button on the projection display, hold down the number 0 button on the remote control at the same time for more than 5 seconds.

Sony Wega kdf50we655 replaced bulb lights flashes green five times then goes red what's the issue?

the 5 blinks is indicating the lamp driver (ballast) has failed. You can get the replacement ballast for your model at the top of the following page

They can also assist with installation information,

The green light on the front flashes 9 times, the unit powers down and then turns back on then the green light flashes 9 times again. It just continually does this and never stops. During this time the red...

You probably need a new projector bulb. Google up your model and buy the best warranteed one you can find. Buy a "caged assembly" and not just a bare bulb.

Then unplug your tv and get a screwdriver. Follow your model's instructions and just snug down the electrical screws. Do not overtighten them.

Then consult your manual on how to reset the lamp timer so it knows you put a new bulb in and fires up from the first try.

Treat yourself because you've just saved yourself a trip from a repairman!!

TV won't stay on

One of two things can be the problem...one the bulb is bad...two the ballast is bad. If the bulb is not bad then the ballast is...it can usually be fixed by replacing a resistor on the board itself...it is labeled R3 and is a 1000 ohm resistor

Red light flashing while green light stays on

I have the same TV, your projection bulb has quit/failed.

A loud pop was heard and the picture has gone followed by a red led fault light clicking on and off.

if your tv is less than 1 year old, and you registered it with Toshiba, you could qualify for a free replacement.

otherwise expect to pay 200.00 for a new bulb from Toshiba.

only good thing is you can replace it yourself, only tool needed is a phillips screwdriver.

you can check EbaY for prices less than 175.00 to 150.00
i am on my 3rd bulb within 4 years....

good luck!
