I download the software for my printer becasue I didn't have a disk but it was for the 1200 seris and not the 1240 seris. It seams as if the printer is printing but when the paper comes ot it's blank. i ask my friend when she had my printer was it printing and she said yes. I ask her when was the last time she printed on it and she said the day she gave it back. Iask her was the ink low she said no the ink was fine. How can I tell if the ink is low and if it's not low why wont it print?
Hi. Probably, the cartridges are
not seated properly or just needs
cleaning. Try to remove the
cartridges from the printer. Close the cover. Grab a damp paper towel. Place it on the table. Set the cartridge on it with the nozzles facing down. Draw about 2-3 lines in one direction to wipe clean the nozzles. Do the same thing to the other cartridge. Unplug the printer from the power source, give it 10-15 seconds before you plug it back in. When the printer's ready, reload the cartridges and secure them properly. Close the cover. Try to print. If not, try another cartridges if you have one. Hope this helps.
