if its a Kenmore model then this message says that the button control board has lost sight of the main control board , but its been my experience that this maybe able to be reset and it may never come back or it will not reset and the control board will need replaced (50/50)
The "C" codes are usually just indicators used during a test mode to tell what parts of the system are engaged but are usually followed by 2 numeric digits. (eg. C:00, C:01, C:02, etc.) I've never heard of a "CF" but what it means may depend on *exactly* what the machine is suppose to be doing at the time.
You could see if you can locate the appliance's 'tech sheet' that may list such codes which should be with the unit's wiring diagram either inside the machine's control console on inside the washer's cabinet in a small pocket, pouch or envelope stuck to the RH side panel. Maybe it will give you a clue as to what is transpiring? You'll need to probably take of the panel to find it.
As far as i know tho- after hitting the test it should actually come up with a c:01-c:08 meaning the test is complete. As loong as it only does this after hitting test you are ok, but double check the tech list inside the panel of your dryer. Hope this helps!
Hi Thanks
for using FixYa. F/02 error means Long Drain. If the drain time exceeds 8
minutes, the water valves are turned off and "F/02" is flashed. Press
PAUSE/CANCEL twice to clear the display.
Check the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged
or kinked.
Check the electrical connections at the pump and make
sure the pump is running.
Check the drain pump filter for foreign objects.
If the above does not correct the problem, replace
the pump.
Please do rate the solution if
the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Hi.
Error code F02 is a problem related to the motor.
It means that the motor is jammed, or tachco detached.
Check connections on motor and module, and motor plug.
Please rate my solution.
Thanks.
