Hello :

B9 Light emission intensity error of the LED array .
Check CIS unit (scanner device) or check main PCB .
According the error either one of these units can be faulty or a lose connection but getting to these would require you take apart most of your fax machine . Maybe it's time to purchase a new fax machine .

Brother Fax-1030 plain paper sending constant 'check paper' error

I got this error when I put the paper in without pulling forward the flap that hold the paper. It seems that the action of returning the flap to it's closed position sets the paper in the correct way.
I'd give that a try.

I am getting an A6 error on my brother MFC8220

The a6 error is Scan Unable, So i assume your trying to scan something? Dont know how to fix it, But i figured id try to help by giving you the meaning to the error code.

start by inserting a document into machine and press the copy button. if come out ok then check your phone line to see if it's live and plugged into the right slot marked "L" and not phone. if still not able to fax try to call that number using a regular phone and listen for the high pitched squeeling noise.

Hi Alexandra,
I hate to be the messenger of bad news but Machine Error 7C mean Engine PCB Error. This error code is for servicer reference and may not appear on the service manual. If it does, it will tell you to unplug the unit and try again. If the problem persists, you have to bring it to an Authorized Brother Service center for repair.

Brother Fax-1030. Not worked since power failure. Only prints power failure report saying 'The electricity failed. The Following data was lost ? Transmission Memory'. Then stops and the LCD screen displays...

In Brother Fax-1030 the stored documents will be saved for up to 6 hours in the event of a power failure
