You can purchase a cable to connect to the Audio Out ports on the back of the TV. It will have 2 RCA connectors on one side that plugs into the TV and a 1/4" stereo jack on the other end that you will connect your headphones to. You could even pickup a pair of wireless headphones... they will have a volume control on them! I hope this helps.

LG LCD TV 37LC2D- Shut off TV, little red light on front of tv goes out, tv will not turn back on. There's power to tv. Any ideas?

The answer is simple, and so is the solution. Unfortunately, it isn't cheap. The components are located on the motherboard and are not replaceable. The solution is simple. Replace the Motherboard. You have 2 options there, a used one, at a big price, or a new one at a bigger price. If you are willing to continue with your 37 inch TV, then go ahead and order it from LG, direct. Otherwise, why not explore a replacement TV with the latest technology, for a little more?

I have a Haier led lcd tv receiver and want to use headphones with it but can't find a socket. Is it possible to use headphones with this make of tv?

If there is such a facility, you will see a socket in front pane of the TV itself, marked as "HP" or Headphone. Look for it. If there is no such socket at the front panel of your TV, you can't connect it to a headphone.

How to i connect my computer speakers to my LG tv?

Hi there,

Fristly, you need to determine if your tv supports 3.5mm PC audio input or RCA PC audio (Red/White) input.

To connect audio from your computer to your tv, you will need a cable with 3.5mm stereo plug on one end (this connects to your computer's headphone socket/speaker output) and either a 3.5mm plug or 2 x RCA (Red/White) plugs - depending on your tv input.

When I plug in a headphone from the jack in the back the sound still comes out the speakers not the headpone. Element fxl-1910

Is your Headphones ok - Have you tried them on something else?

Is the plug on the headphones of the correct type and size?

If you mute the TV or turn down the volume - does this affect the headphone volume?

Also, Do you get sound out of the Headphones at the same time as the speakers?

If the above checks out to be OK - You may have a faulty Headphone socket in the TV.

Normally when you push headphones into a TV it usually pushes a piece of Metal in the head phone socket that disengages the speakers
The socket can go faulty

I have purchased a 50inch plasma tv which does not have a headphone socket. I wish to use headphones with this tv - can I use the composite audio red and white jacks on the back to plug into a headphone...

What you will need is a Stereo RCA to stereo 1/8" cable that will connect you to your TV. You can get it at any radio shack or electronics parts store.
You might also like this which is a wireless headphone setup for your TV or phone system.
