I am having Asus K8S-MX mother board. I want to re-boot my hard disk now. I am not able to format it like intel board. so any one help me with full procedure.

OPEN UR CPU AND OUT UR RAM FROM MOTHERBOARD AND START UR PC WITHOUT RAM IS IT BEEP OR NOT IF IT BEEP THEN CLEAN UR RAM AND RE INSERT IN MOTHER BOARD AND THEN START UR PC IS IT OK
IF NOT THEN PICOUT BATERY CELL 2032 FROM MOTHER BOARD AND THEN START UR PC
IS IT BEEP WITHOUT RAM AND CELL IF YES THEN CLEAN UR RAM AND RE INSERT IN MOTHER BOARD AND THEN START UR PC
IF IT IS OK THEN CHANGE UR BATTERY WITH NEW ONE
IF UR PC BEEP WITHOUT RAM BUT NO DISPLAY WITH RAM THEN CHANGE UR RAM WITH NEW ONE.
To get rid of this message at boot you must turn off the Chassis Intrusion detector feature. To do this you must restart the computer, as it boots press DEL to enter BIOS. Under the SECURITY tab in BIOS select CHASSIS INTRUSION and select DISABLE. Then select EXIT and SAVE CHANGES and OK to reboot the system.
i assume it wont boot back up? If you reset the CMOS on the motherboard by moving the jumper on your board as per your manual. this will reset you settings to default setting, and let you reboot. If you don;t have you can downlaod the manual, drivers and much more for your model, from the web site at this address:

to format ur hard disk simple way installed ur window xp/vista from installing the operating system it will be easier to format ur hard disk
steps1;
1) just put bootable windowsin ur cdrom
2) run the set up
3) follow the procedures while installing from there u can format ur hard disk
my understanding is that if you do not have other drives in a raid configuration you do not need the raid driver loaded ,have your hard drive plugged into the first sata slot, then format the hard drive ,instal o/s and all should be good.
