Power off at the isolator for 10 mins then switch back on and try again. If error code persists, then it is most likely the controller in the outdoor unit.
Excessive voltage of DC voltage on PFC circuit in inverter PCB is detected, or the excessive current in the circuit is detected.
> Permanent stop.
[Diagnosis Point]
Controller PCB defective (Refer to after mentioned "PFC circuit diagnosis")

( Power factor correction ) Circuit protection on controls. The LG a/c is manufactured using the PFC and sign wave technology, By the PFC control, Raising the operating voltage from the existing DC 280 v to DC 380 v can be done. Thereby it makes operation smooth in high-frequency area. The sine wave control enables soft operation in low frequency area, Thereby expanding the product's operating range. This also markedly improves the product's energy efficiency. hope this helps
you must have some diagram b) must test some around components like capacitor+diode+resistor+ic+Trafo , that will be in short circuit this will provoke the short in your MOSFET transistor.
There are several fuses on the power supply board.
Usually the one that fails is not the main AC line fuse (which is close to the AC line input), but the PFC fuse located, you guessed it, next to the PFC regulator IC on the board.
When the PFC fuse is blown (measuring open) you also need to replace the PFC IC and possibly other components on the board. Most of the time the PFC is sufficient though.
You will need a service manual to get the correct part number, I tried to cross with my NTE data base no luck, went into ebay site punched in the original numbers came up empty.
Very complicated these items. I have not been able to repair even apparently simple faults, manufacturers such as emerson/leibert do not release cct diagrams, so very difficult to fix as there are many different sections (pfc, rectifier, charger, upconverter, bypass, inverter) of the circuit all interconnected with a micro processor monitoring and controllling the whole thing. You have to be really lucky to sort out any problem particulary one with blown components.
