When i turn my tv on after about ten minutes its powers it self off

See my answer about power supply capacitors . That fixes a lot of LG power supply problems.

Try unplugging the tv at the wall outlet or from power bar, for a count of ten then plug back in, should reset tv.

You will see firmware information on the right hand side of the screen. Please open and read the Firmware Upgrade Read Me file. These contain instructions and the update history of this model TV. Underneath the Read me file you will find the download link. You must follow the instructions in the read me file or you risk damaging your unit further.

This is from the read me:
The set is switched OFF/shut down by itself after a few hours turning ON.

The newest upgrade should fix all your issues.

The high pitch sound may be coming from the power supply module or from the backlight inverter boards.

Sounds like the powerboard to your tv went out. It can be replaced/repaired. Call your manufacturer for technical support.

Check the "Sleep Timer" settings. If set to 45 minutes then TV would automatically turn itself off 45 minutes from being turned on. The variance in the "on" times is due to the TV turning itself off after not getting a signal from the remote for fifteen minutes.

Special Navigation DVD System For Volkswagen PASSAT B5, BORA, POLO, GOLF AFTER INSTALLATION IT WORKS ONLY FOR TEN MINUTES. THEN TURNS IT SELF OFF AND WONT LET YOU TURN IT BACK ON UNTIL YOU SWITCH OFF THE IGNITION. THEN IT DOES THE SAME AFTER TEN MINUTES.
