In a nutshell, the convergence ICs have failed. The cost to fix by a service company is likely about $300. You may find someone who does it on the side for around $150.
If you are happy with the picture, you like the tv, then $150 might be worth it.
It is possible to do this repair yourself if you have an electronics background.
assuming that you have adjusted the convergence and this had no effect. you might have some blown convergence chips and/or resistors. these make the 3 color line up with each other.. my 55 in phillips did the same thing and the more i used it the worst it got. first it was the blue and the red and finally the green., replaced chips and resistors and the problem went away... good luck.. a lot of soldering involved. but the chips are only like 11.00 each and the resistors are like ten for all three.
Go to menu then setup look for convergence if you do not see convergence then you have A open FUSE It will be on right side of FBT flyback transfomer there is 3 of them in a roll they are small brown rectrangler looking caps but ARE FUSES it will be the one in the middle. Replace it and you have a FIXYA.
this could be caused by the loss of the power to the converge circuit or the failure of the converge chips-stk-xxx-xxx if the problem pops in and out it's a connection problem.
tub is suspended from spring mounts
springs stretch over time tub sags
remove top cover
locate spring mounts and adjust tensioning bolts tighter on sagging side
This looks like Pincushion problem. nothing you can do. Only a Trained technecian can do this adjustment to reproduce a perfectly aligned image. It requires a pattern Generator and other tools. call the company tech.
The convergence circuit needs repaired. I did the same job yesterday on this model. I not only replaced the convergence ICs, but, I had to replace a couple of resistors and a coil. The convergence alignment was minor after that.
