V3i..battery problem -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- i notice that when i charge my v3i with the charger, it kept saying battery charging, it never says battery complete, regardless of how long i keep it on the charger. When i take it off the charger now, i notice that the battery dies very quickly, expecially if im on a phone call, i cannot spend more than 30min talking, and it doesnt die. Well, i tried an other alternative, by using the usb cable. When using the usb cable it charges up and it says charge complete, but then, it also dies very quick. So i changed the battery and tried using the charger n usb cable again, and the same result i get, the battery dies quicky. I dont know what else to do, can anyone help. Phone: motorola v3i, with itunes

EJ K.'s solution is incorrect, theree areonly one set of power input connections to the phone via the mini/micro usb connector regardless of the charger being used. People who do not know the specs should not try to answer these things, That person is dead wrong.

Your problem is your battery is beyond it's service life and needs to be replaced. thats all that there is too it. These small batteries are pushed to the limit with the power drains that we put them through and are good for only about a year of reliable service of average use. The problem is most people over use their cell phones, as the small phones like the V3 were never meant to be used as primary phones.

What you are describing is that there is an issue with the USB charging port on your V3i. Different pins are used when charging via the wall as opposed to via a USB computer port. It really is quite common with the V3i, you can search on the internet to get your port repaired. If you cannot find anyone, feel free to ontact me, outlet3g in the repair directory.

Good luck!!

Not open the power

You can personally try to troubleshoot your Motorola V3i Cellphone. Try to remove the battery of your cellpone first and see if you notice something. You can't open your cellphone probably your battery is already damage. Or the keypad or power button is loosed. Check also the rubber attach to your power button.
