Sounds like your PSP is bricked. What this means is that the system software is corrupted, therefore the PSP is as good as a brick but fear not!

The following website can un-brick the system (reload the system software) onto the PSP for $29!

First you have to take out the battery and use charger to turned on and when it turn on just put on the battery or take out the battery and wait for minutes then put it on and tur on,if that doesn't work when you turn on just hold R and start or repair it

Psp fell ,turn psp on.green light turns on.screen stays off

Hi first i will say sorry for that. I will recommend that you see a certified technician to fix it up, there are a few things i guess are wrong with your psp... the system of psp are fragile and should be handled with care because i think one or more parts are broken and need replacement. Cheers

THe PSP will not fully come on....the light turns green but nothing on the screen and then after a few seconds....unit goes off???

It sounds like the firmware is corrupt. You will have to reflash it using a pandora battery and "magic memory stick". You can get one here.

My psp was dropped and now the little green light comes on but the sreen stays black, nothing happens. five or so seconds go by and the light turns off what is my problem, any ideas need help please

Inside the psp is a very small ribbon cable that connects your screen to a printed circuit board. Sounds to me like you most likely need to reinsert that cable to get your screen back up. If you open it...be absolutely certain you know what you are doing! Most connections are very small and you will need jewelers screwdrivers to open it. Otherwise bring it in for repair.
Best Luck.

Green light but nothing comes on

It seems that inside your PSP the LCD Screen Connection cable (The broad One) which is connected to the motherboard is being loose contact so if you can open the PSP try it by re-fixing the cable again otherwise you better go for a technician who will do the same job for you.

PSP will not turn on

Have you tried ejecting your battery pack? I've had a problem like this. But I don't recall the green light coming on for 15 seconds. Anyway, try ejecting the battery pack and putting it back in. If that doesn't work, then... I tried.
