It means the mainboard has a malfunction. The printer would need to be serviced by Sharp or a Sharp approved service centre.

The F2-04 error code you are getting is that you are using the wrong toner.It may be form sharp,but it toner chips is different.Only the chips swapping at the toner back can help you.
