Need to reprogram remote

I use the Universal Harmony 880 which was programed by a professional tech for all my devices. The date on remote only advanced to 2009 so I decided to connect remote to computer and try and change date. When I connected the remote, all the programming was wiped out. Began inputting info for all devices again and inadvertently downloaded WRONG HDTV remote. The Logitec programming tool won't allow me to re-configure the HDDVR remote, just to continue on to the remaining devices. After clicking "cancel" I tried to start over, signed back on again and it popped me right back in where I left off. Help!

Quick fix try and leave batteries out for a day to see if it looses all memory. Also try uninstalling software removing all user settings, then reinstall and try again.

You don't give a model number for the Dynex, but if it is a DX-L19-10, the Harmony 880 will control it. For further queries on controllable TVs and other devices, go here

Note that Logitech no longer offers login to the old Harmony website. You will now need to download Harmony software to your PC or an app to your tablet or smartphone etc., and program the Harmony 880 via that.

Hi. All of the programming for Harmony remotes is done in the software. You will need to download the software, and create an account to set up the remote. You can download the software by visiting http://logitech.com/myharmony and clicking on "Doanloads". Make sure you know the make and model numbers for your TV and other devices so that you can enter them in when prompted.

All of sudden the harmony remote does not work the infred but i dug out the other remotes and they still work
If your remote is programmed correctly but no longer controls any of your devices, then most likely your LED IR emitters have burned out. There is an Ebay-hosted service that fixes this problem for $14.00. How do you delete devices from harmony 880?
You can download the harmony program from there website. connect your remote with a USB cable to your computer and run the program. It's fairly easy to reprogram it.

If you have changed your hardware setup, you must reprogram your Harmony 880 using the Logitech software. You should be able to simply step through the 'interview-like' process and enter the new make and model number of the new hardware. It is usually recommended to add the new device first and then associate the new device with your existing Activities. Once your Activities have been mapped to use the new device, you can delete the old one. Once everything has been completed in the software, update your remote through the USB connection. When you define different activities (such as Watch TV, Watch DVD, etc.) the remote will ask which of the TV inputs your device is plugged into.  After programming, when you select the appropriate activity, the remote will automatically select the correct input.
