Hp mx 705 monitor the brightness menu appears andautomatically increases brightness to 100

Have a look if the Eco mode is turned on, this can effect the brightness of the monitor because it uses a light sensor.

You will need to adjust the contrast and brightness down to about 50%.

have some problem i m uing hp 7540 crt monitor it showing every time atomtically displying usermode how to stop user mode

my monitor model is HPm705 CRT as and when i use the system the monitor screen gets switched off and on every 2mins... pls consider the issue and tell the solution for it... to get resolve......

This is common problem observed in many monitors compaq,HP,HCL,IBM this is happens mainly in rainy season due to moisture,by this moisture monitor button circuit get rust inside and button pad remain pressed. so it shows a strip at the middle of monitor like contrast or brightness. So this is minor problem just replace the monitor display control button sensor or circuit.Temporarily you can warm up the monitor by hanging a bulb of 60 watt nearer your monitor to takeoff the moisture.(Dont hang the bulb too near to the monitor). It definitely solves your problem.

Press the menu button on monitor select the brightness press the menuside button increases or decreases.after select exit oress the exit button on monitor.

hi..i think you have a problem the CPU/Computer that's whystays on screen for so long.1st step check the IDE cable connection form the mother board to Hard Drive and 2nd check the memory or check all hardware`s.Good Luck and Have a nice day

.well i had the same problem but my dad fixed it.
.he opened the monitor [like unscrew it.] and just clean it. brush it. and it will work fine.
if it didnt i dont know.

Try this one

go to menu setting and increase TEMPERATURE to 8300 or between 8300 to 9300
this will help you to solve your problem
