You should check if your radio has a TIMER setup to shut off after 2 minutes. If you can't find this feature, look for it in users manual. If it doesn't appear in user's manual go to store where you bought your radio or website if you bought it through Internet shopping and ask for assistance

Great model, I had one in the 80's!

I attached a link below to the user manual.

1) Tune to the desired station to be stored.
2) Press and hold the enter/clock button.
3) While holding the enter/clock button, press the preset of your choice.

i have a 2004 jaguar x-type and i replaced my battery and the radio is locked and i dont know the code. i bout the car second hand and the code that the dealership has isnt working. what can i do to get the radio unlocked?

You might check your Qt filter to see if it is turned off. You can find the instructions on page 2 of the user manual.
