My lg wm0742hga front load washer machine over fill of water causing to leak out from the door

even when overflowing it shouldnt leak from the door? less u have a bad door seal? the water problem may be due to a bad water inlet valve? have u notice water in the tub even when ur not using it? check with a multimeter the inlet valve and the water pressure switch? blow into the water pressure switch while it is in the wash mode filling with water and if it starts washing the diaphfram is good if not its faulty. u can also checl the water inlet valve the one with the hoses attached . by running either a hot or cold cycle only and turn off the hot then turn off the cold? see if it continues to over flow with each cycle? hot then cold- GOOD LUCKKKKK

Leaking water from the hose connections

Had the same problem w/the water inlet w/initial installation. When the water inlet was hooked to the faucet and into the washer, water leaked on the washer end. The manual tells you to put a new "flat" washer (provided) in the washer machine water inlet, but water still leaked. It's actually the not flat washer, it's more of an "U" shape washer that goes into the washer machine water inlet and fits right over the filter in the water inlet valve. Leak was solved, but faucet was on and water was not filling in the drum. Turn power on, select cycle, water level, and press start and water should start filling the drum.

Whirlpool duet washer LF error

LF error means "Long Fill". Whirlpool uses a flow meter that detects the flow of water entering the washer. If this flow meter does not detect the correct amount of water entering the washer it will sound the LF error code. Often this repair can be made with out calling an appliance repairman and without ordering parts. Start by removing the washer fill hoses; both the cold and the hot water hoses. Check for proper water pressure from the house. To do so, turn the water on and put the hose inside the washer or a bucket.

If water pressure is good, check the water valve inlet screens. Most residential washing machines have inlet screens. The screens prevent minerals from clogging the solenoid. With the hoses removed, you can visually inspect the water inlet screens. If the water valve screens are clear the inlet valve with the screens itself will need to be replaced. To replace the water valve, remove the top of the washing machine. Three screws hold the top down. The screws that hold the top down are on the back of the top panel. Once removed the top will slide back and off. Now remove the wire harness that connects to the valve. One screw holds the valve to the washers cabinet. Removing the screw and sliding the valve over will release the valve from the back panel enabling you to complete your repair.

One last thing to check is the fill hoses. These front load washers call for a lot of water quickly. So if you have stainless steel braided flood-safe hoses, they will trip for no reason at all. Replace these flood safe hoses with more traditional hoses. If the hoses are good and you haven't found anything slowing down the flow of the water, your electronic inlet water valve is just faulty on the back of your washer and will need to be replaced because it's just not allowing water flow into the washer correctly.

Waher takes 2 hours to fill on rinse cycle, fill up pretty quickly on wash but than on rinse takes 2 or more hours to fill

This is a cold water supply problem, obvious since cold water is what is used in the rinse cycle. Check the water inlet valve. Remove the supply hoses and check the small screens inside the valve. Make sure they are not clogged with rust or debris. The solenoids can be tested using a multimeter or ohmmeter. Test for continuity. A lack of continuity indicates a faulty solenoid and the water inlet valve will need replaced. I will attach a photo for reference. Hope this helped and best wishes.

Leak where water enters drum

I would say you havda inlet valve. With the washer not in use and empty after about 2-4 hours do you notice that you have a semi full tub? If it is filling with water by itself you have a bad inlet valve all you have to do is take the top panel off you will see the valve it's what is attached to the fill hoses. When you have dirty lines the dirt goes through the solinoids and keeps them open causeing the water to come in when not in use.

Water leaks/pours out

its very difficult to answer your question since different machines use different pumps. as for the leak my guess is either a hose has disconnected/torn at the pump or inlet water valve.

Hoover washing machine top load, model 550m.5.5kg

water leak from cold hose nothing to do with other problem. tighten hose connection and fit a new hose washer overfilling probably because air chamber blocked. remove lid. you will see a pressurestat somewhere at the top - usually round with anything from 3 to 7 wires and a small tube underneath. follow hose down and it connects to the air chamber. make sure this is free of gung and check hose for splits and has no blockage. to check the pressure stat itself, attach your own hose to the stat and while machine in fill mode, blow down this hose and you should hear a click and water intake will stop
