We have a new laptop, and desktop and a linksys

You can always reset the router and start over. Use a straightened-out paper clip or the point of a pen to press the recessed reset button on the router's rear panel. Hold it for 10 seconds or so and release it. The router will restart, and then all its settings will be back to factory default. Go through the wireless network settings again and you can set up a new passphrase.

I fixed the problem. The problem is that Toshiba Satellite Laptops do not like Channel 6, so I moved it to Channel 11 and both laptops were working on it.

All you have to do is that you will have to setup your Hp to share or to be seen by other machine on the network by going to the network properties then setting the network, file and folder on your hp to be seen and shared by other machine.

You don't need a router for the laptop it has a wireless card in it already, buy a router for your home PC and I would buy a linksys with cap 5 network cables and wireless connections so you can use the printer off of the home computer PC. If you have high speed Internet you can request for a router for free with a wireless and cap 5-cable capacity.
