I've started installing the PC studio, and I'm at the stage where it asks you to connect the phone by USB cable. ive done everything it asks, yet every time the connection fails!
help please!
my new samsung sgh-g600 pc connection worked initially, I downloaded some music from itunes, etc, now it doesn't recognize my usb connection. I've only had the phone a week and have tried reinstalling the software many times.Samsung doesn't support their phones unless brand new. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you
When this happens, click Start and Control Panel. If you are in Category View, click Performance And Maintenance and then System. If you are using Classical View, double-click the System icon.
In the System Properties dialog box, click the Hardware tab and the Device Manager button. Next, look through the list of devices until you see Universal Serial Bus Controllers and click the plus (+) sign next to it. Double-click one of the USB Root Hub lines and click the Power Management tab in the USB Root Hub Properties dialog box. Click the Allow The Computer To Turn Off This Device To Save Power checkbox so it is unchecked. Click OK and restart your computer.

1. In Idle mode, press
<Menu> and select
Settings → Phone
settings → USB settings
→ Media player.
2. Connect your phone and PC
with an optional PC data
cable.
3. Select Sync digital media
files to this device when a
pop-up window appears on
your PC.
4. Enter the name of your
phone and click Finish.
5. Select and drag the music
files you want to the sync
list.
6. Click Start Sync.
7. When synchronisation is
finished, disconnect the
phone from the PC.
NOTA:!
• Do not remove the memory card from the
phone or unplug the PC data cable while
synchronising. It can cause data loss or errors
in the music playlist.
• If you use the phone to format the memory
card, all licenses and WM DRM files will be
erased.

You did not indicate the option you tried using. Try all the connection options: USB, Bluetooth, infra red etc. If it does not, your might be having problem with the configuration of the pc studio.
