Hi
Modern TV's suffer the same ills as their predecessors. Parts fail. Sometimes due to heat. Sometimes due to poor design. Sometimes due to vibrate. If you don't have the capability of checking internal components professionally, I would suggest taking it to a reputable repair person.

My 42lh30 lg tv was on the kids where watching movie on xbox then the tv and xbox just turned off. and will not come back on. the xbox is working. but there is no red light saying the tv is getting power....

Possibly you've had a power cut & a fuse associated with the TV has blown. Have you checked the fuse in the TV plug? If that's ok then probably a fuse internally in the TV has blown or something more serious has blown in the power supply

My LG 32LD320 won't turn on. I have no standby light and have even tried changing the fuse. Help please!

If total dead best way is to follow the AC voltage from power cord inside the set to see where voltage is lost.

Also , were you having any problems having to turn set on several times to get it on?

Hi, i have a problem with my lg 32" ld350 tv..it

Hello.
This is a thermo-related issue. It happens when some parts in your TV reach certain temperature and fail creating short so TV shuts down and goes into protection mode.
In your TV the only thing that you can do is to replace Power Supply and hope it would help. Main board generally has nothing to do with temperature. Another probability - LCD panel itself (more likely back light inverter boards that are part of the panel, you can't order them separately).
There is inexpensive way to determine if it is power supply or not. You have to purchase fast-cooling spray that technicians use for diagnostic purposes (you can buy one in electronics components store).
You have remove TV rear cover so you have access to power supply board (the one where power cord goes). Turn on TV and let it run and eventually shut down. After that unplug it from wall outlet and use spray to cool down power supply board. Make sure you don't spray too much or you cooling anything else besides that board!. Let residue evaporate and plug TV back and try to turn it on. If it act OK and stays on for long time again - replace power supply and you should be OK.
Otherwise it is time for new TV. Panel is too expensive to replace.
Regards.
Russ.

My lg tele wont turn on. when the tele is plugged into the wall the right light flickers when goes off and it wont switch on

Check and replace any swollen capacitors on the power board. This would be the fordt thing to look for. If that doesn't fix it then get back to me.

37 inch LG LCD won't turn on due to power failure

Power failures can cause all types of problems, have you firstly checked the fuse in the mains plug? If that is ok then it may have blown an internal fuse in the power supply board, these are there to protect the rest of the circuit from power surges.

LG 32LX1D 32 not turning on

Hi, I think you have to get it checked out by a profesional, unpluging your appliances is a good idea but damage can also ocuur the moment you plug them back on. If you want to try it could be that a fuse is open there not normal fuses inside (small chip fuses surface mount)
